The Houston Lighting and Power company placed this sign at the intersection of Main and Bellaire. Its illuminated message “Welcome to Houston, gateway to the World” was the first thing people would see at night as they entered the city from the south in 1928.
The Alta Arts will receive a portion of every image sold during this
exhibit or custom ordered through The Alta Arts after the exhibit thru
the end of 2023.
All images in this exhibit are printed on EPSON quality Exhibition Satin
canvas utilizing archival inks. They are stretched and ready to hang,
with or without a frame.
All images can be custom ordered on EPSON Quality Luster Finish paper
utilizing archival inks to the following sizes:
11 x 14 inch on paper $100.00
16 x 20 inch on paper $150.00
20 x 24 inch on paper $200.00
24 x 30 inch on paper $250.00
30 x 40 inch on paper $350.00
30 x 40 inch on canvas $600.00
