Dave's one-man band from Tulsa Oklahoma was a popular act who performed at the Weber's Beer Garden on Main Street near Bellaire Boulevard. 1933

Lincoln Theater

The Lincoln theatre was located at 711 Prairie Avenue and managed by O.P. DeWalt. It was the first black owned and operated movie theatre in the city of Houston. It offered films and vaudeville acts and was the occasional meeting place for the Ancient Order of the Pilgrims.
