Fables

Houston Music Festival kicks off its inaugural season with “Fables”, an immersive concert experience weaving together poetry and storytelling with chamber music and improvisation. Experience a uniquely Houstonian story through the lens of those who call it home, with improvisations and dialogue on what it means to live in our city. Featuring music by Nicky Sohn, Nikolai Kapustin, Johannes Brahms and more, with original poetry by former Houston Poet Laureate Outspoken Bean.
Get to know the performers in a wine and beer reception following the show.
This event is funded in part by the City of Houston through Houston Arts Alliance.
Parking is free. Beverages and light snacks are complimentary.
